Celebrating Five BPI Employee Promotions

Saratoga Springs, NY:  Building Performance Institute has always been honored with staff who are intelligent, hardworking, kind, and loyal. This fall we reluctantly said goodbye to three valued longtime staff, Bruce DeMaine, Sue Carson, and John Jones, who we wish the very best in their new ventures.

Fortunately, other capable staff were prepared to fill in the gaps, and the transition provided an opportunity to advance them into new positions of responsibility. We’d like to recognize the following staff for their recent promotions:

BPI's Delta Standard Annex E Available for Public Comment


Saratoga Springs, NY: The Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) is pleased to announce an update to ANSI/BPI-2400-S-2015: Standard Practice for the Standardized Qualification of Whole-House Energy Savings Predictions by Calibration to Energy Use History, also known as the “Delta Standard.” Informative Annex E: Alternative Asset‐Based Savings Calculation with Insufficient Energy Use Data (BPI-2400 Annex E) is now available for public comment for a period of 30 days ending January 16, 2024.

The Delta Standard specifies the requirements and process for the calculation of standardized predicted savings using approved  building energy simulation software.
