Quality control processes that produce zero defects or inefficiency is our dream. Zero Quality Control (ZQC) is an attitude that supports our teams in their daily work. It is easy to measure but very difficult to implement.

The ZQC approach recognizes that it is natural for people to make mistakes. It does not point fingers or hassle people to “do better next time.” Instead, it uses Mistake Proofing methods, materials, and devices to keep errors from becoming defects.

Another proven aspect of Zero Quality Control is Visual Management. Mistake Proofing and Visual Management are inseparable, so we will explore both during this session. Together they help us reduce effort, enhance our reputation with customers and funders, and result in a bottom-line increase.
