The Building Performance Institute, Inc. (BPI) has recognized two new products in its Product Listing Program that meet, or exceed, industry standards.
In the Air Pressure Balancing category, Tamarack Technologies, Inc. has listed their Perfect Balance Return Air Pathway and RAP Return Air Wall Transfer Grille. The Perfect Balance Return Air Pathway has a specially designed baffle material to mitigate sound and light. It is easy to install in a door, can be painted if necessary, and is durable with a lifetime guarantee. The RAP Return Air Wall Transfer Grille allows the movement of air from one room to the next, equalizes pressure in the home, dampening sound and light transmission. It comes in five different sizes that are easy to install.
To be featured on BPI's approved Product List, products must meet the appropriate industry standard or efficacy requirement that BPI identifies. Once the product is tested, reviewed and approved, the product's manufacturer is eligible to place the BPI Listed Product logo on its packaging and marketing materials.
The benefits for manufacturers of having their products listed include: differentiation of higher quality materials; identification as a leader in the home performance industry; and direct connection of consumers and contractors to the manufacturer's website.
The BPI Product Listing currently has 32 products from nine different categories.
