The new changes for BPI Affiliates include:
  1. Reduction of the annual Affiliate fees from $1000 Savings Jarto $250.
  2. Elimination of renewal fees for Affiliates who deliver at least 100 written exams and 100 field practical exams in a year.
  3. Introduction of a sliding scale of fees for the exams delivered by the Affiliates based on testing volume.
  4. Offering $250 per company in mentoring fees for affiliates who recruit contractors into BPI Accreditation and help them understand the home performance contracting process.

The new changes for BPI Accredited Contractors include:

  1. A reduction of Accreditation fees for contractors from $1,250 to $500 per year.
  2. BPI is investing in the delivery of business management training for Accredited contractors.  We are working with the firm of Callahan, Garofalo, and Roach who has a 25 year track record of delivering quality management training to contractors in the HVAC, masonry, and related building services industries.
  3. In an effort to improve home performance resources, BPI is working with Saturn Resource Management (Krigger and Dorsi), to provide the SRMI Field Guides to BPI certified individuals and accredited contractors.  Also a guidance document is being developed for curriculum developers, trainers, and candidates on what is covered in the BPI exams.

BPI is pleased to provide these new incentives for Affiliates and Accredited contractors and help to ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional building performance services.
