The BPI staff consists of a Chief Executive Officer , four Directors, and administrative and support team members. This group brings several decades of combined experience in administration, contracting, and building science applications to BPI, providing the core resources for program implementation and production.

Larry Zarker joined BPI in 2005, in a consulting capacity as the Director of National Development. Larry is President of MarketEdge Consulting. He focuses his practice on helping building industry clients accelerate acceptance of innovative building products and systems Larry worked for nearly twenty years with the NAHB Research Center and served as Vice President of Marketing for the past decade.

Matt is the Director of Certifications for BPI and has been with BPI since 2001. He has a background in residential, commercial, and industrial construction and most recently was a safety specialist with a regional industrial construction company. Matt is responsible for the development and delivery of our national certification program. He is also the co-chair of the BPI Technical Committee whose objective is to ensure material is vetted by subject matter experts and ensure BPI testing is psychometrically valid. |

Sally joined BPI in 2003 and has an extensive management experience in the banking industry. She worked for both Chase Bank and Key Bank during her career. Sally held positions in branch management, consumer lending and loan servicing. Her last position at Key Bank was as Vice President and Manager of the Loan Center Support Team. At BPI, She is responsible for managing our accounting and administrative activities. |

Vikki joined BPI in 2001. She has extensive field and administrative experience in the energy conservation field, including the NYS Weatherization Assistance Program. Ms. Murphy served as past president of the New York State Weatherization Director’s Association. Vikki is responsible for managing our field operations, which includes test proctoring, accreditation oversight and affiliate relations. |

Tony joined BPI in 2004. He has both a weatherization agency and HVAC industry background. As a BPI field representative Tony was responsible for delivering both certification and accreditation services to our active and potential contractors. In 2006 Tony was promomted to Manager of Quality Assurance, overseeing the new Quality Assurance program that BPI started in the fall of 2006. |

Steve joined BPI as a field representative in 2006. He is responsible to proctor written and field tests to certification candidates. Steve has worked in the housing industry in Syracuse , NY for the past 5 years. He was the Housing Development Coordinator for the Northeast Development Association, Inc, and most recently Construction and Rehab Specialist for Home Headquarters Inc. Steve is certified by BPI in several available designations already and will continue to expand his capabilities. He is certified by the EPA as a lead paint risk assessor, lead paint inspector and lead paint supervisor. While at Home Headquarters, Steve acted as liaison between the child care providers and the construction community for a Home-Based Child Care Lead Safety pilot program run by the National Center for Healthy Housing and was recognized for his extraordinary service to this program. |

Melissa joined BPI in 2005. She has a background in marketing and has held various administrative positions. Melissa has previously worked as an Administrative Assistant at Waddell & Reed in Albany; Marketing Administrative Associate at Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY; and Adminstrative Assistant at New York Medical Imaging, PLLC in Wappingers Falls, NY. At BPI, Melissa is responsible to update our database and website with new information, assists in the BPI accreditation process, and assists on marketing projects. |

Dolores joined BPI in February, 2006 as an Administrative Assitant. She has an extensive background in business, and has held various administrative positions. Dolores has previously worked as Secretary and Faculty Typist for Ballston Spa Central School District, Administrative Assistant at Skidmore College, Office Manager for Oasis, Inc. and Office Coordinator at Hospice of Saratoga/Amsterdam. At BPI she is responsible for Conference and Meeting logistics, and Travel Management. |

Geri joined BPI in 2005 as bookkeeper. She has an extensive accounting background and has held various positions in that field. Geri is responsible for all bookkeeping tasks and acts as liaison to our accounting firm. In 2006 Geri was promoted to Assistant Controller. |

Carol Ann joined BPI as Scheduling Coordinator in July, 2006. Carol Ann has a business background in retail management and mortgage operations. In October 2006, she was promoted to Assistant Manager of Certifications and Quality Assurance. Carol Ann is responsible for test scheduling and scoring, Affiliate test management, and assists the Manager of Quality Assurance. |

Ellen joined the BPI team as Administrative Processor in January, 2007. Ellen has previously worked as Inside Sales Assistant for SKS Bottle & Packaging Inc. in Watervliet, NY and as a Research Assistant of Market Track in Saratoga Springs, NY. Ellen is responsible for updating the database, helps in the BPI certification process, and assists both the Director of Certification and Accreditation and the Assistant Manager for Certifications and QA. |
